About The Peptide Wiki

The Peptide Wiki gathers peptide knowledge from every credible source we can find: peer-reviewed studies, PubMed papers, named-expert interviews, podcast transcripts, vendor disclosures, regulatory updates, and community-reported experiences. Our research AI surfaces the most cross-referenced, repeated, and corroborated information so users can see what's consistently reported across sources vs. what's a single influencer's claim. Educational only; not medical advice.

Our Editorial Process

  1. Source collection: We collect peer-reviewed papers, regulatory updates, vendor documentation, creator interviews, and timestamped field notes.
  2. Claim separation: We separate mechanism research, animal data, human data, expert interpretation, and anecdotal protocols.
  3. Review pass: Editors check page structure, dates, terminology, and whether evidence labels match the underlying source quality.
  4. Update log: Pages are revised when new research, vendor information, or regulatory changes materially affect the recommendation.

How We Source Data

Our pages combine structured database entries, public research papers, regulatory materials, vendor disclosures, and timestamped media references. We cite dates when policy or availability may change. Every quote on our peptide pages links back to the original source (YouTube video with timestamp, PubMed paper, or vendor URL) so readers can verify in one click.

How We Score Vendors

Each vendor in our directory gets a 0 to 5 star score (out of 100 points) computed from 4 pillars:

PillarMaxWhat it measures
Authority50Number of distinct expert voices recommending this vendor (log-scaled, diminishing returns)
Volume30Total recommendations across all videos (log-scaled)
Tier15Manual classification: creator-endorsed (15) / Reddit-validated (10) / listed-with-caveat (5) / unrated (0)
Recency5Mentioned in last 90 days? +5

Once user reviews are live: a 5th pillar (User reviews, 10 pts) will be added and Recency will drop to 0. We may also raise/lower a vendor's tier based on community feedback, regulatory enforcement, or quality changes. Every tier change is logged.

Funding & Affiliate Transparency

Some pages include affiliate links or discount codes. We disclose those relationships, pass discount codes through to readers (we never inflate prices), and keep editorial criteria separate from compensation. A vendor's affiliate commission has zero impact on its star score, tier, or position in search/comparison pages.
